What is your approach to training?:
Meaningful, honest and individualized goal setting; empowering my clients to want health and wellness, not just the quick fix.
What specific demographic do you specialize in?:
A good fit is essential regardless of the demographic. Trust and accountability is everything. This is the same across the board with both my fitness and nutrition clients. My youngest client is 11 years old and my oldest is 72!
What are your 3 Daily must-haves?:
My morning cup of organic, free-trade coffee, a good sweat followed by a green smoothie.
What is your story to becoming a personal coach and Nutritionist?: As a former, competitive elite gymnast I came to rely on sports & fitness as a way to connect with like-minded people. During stressful times, exercising or participating in athletics gave me stability and confidence in myself and my abilities. I am a results-oriented person but I learned to love the process just as much as the result. This focused mind-set is from years of training hard and rehabbing serious injuries. I was an elite children’s gymnastics coach for many years before I switched to training primarily adults. I try to bring out the inner athlete in all my clients, even those who hated gym class and felt insecure about their physical abilities!

Creator of ReShape Program. My program focuses on Reshaping your views on your current nutrition and exercise habits and possibly your body. This is not a weight-loss program, although many past participants lost unwanted body fat and built muscle. I emphasize overall health and wellness. Scientific research and studies guide my principles but I am not a “one size fits all” fitness and health professional. It is my goal that my participants learn Lifestyle is the key to all that is healthy and sustainable. The synergistic effect of proper nutrition, adequate exercise and mindful living is powerful.
